Patience, dedication and care are the essential elements in the elaboration of our NAVARRO Extra Aged Cheddar Cheese, without them it could not exist.
The most rigorous selection of pieces of 3 kg of cheese will lead, after a minimum of 12 months, to the creation of an exceptional and unique cheese. With character, presence and elegance allowing it to be the center of attraction on different occasions, either individually or harmonized with food and drinks.
It is the reflection of our expertise and why we know how to make cheese.
Its texture is semi-hard, slightly brittle and occasionally slightly soft, its color is straw yellow. With a deep, persistent aroma and refined notes such as: boiled milk and fresh yogurt, nuts, cream, flashes of citrus fruits’ compote that are magnified and frankly delivered. With the presence of small crystals characteristic of the very ripe Cheddar, they give a unique contrast in the mouth, a delicious nutty aftertaste and a great permanence.
Its versatility of use makes it ideal for sweet or salty food, it is excellent for fondue, to gratinate and for wine pairing. This cheese is the perfect companion of nuts, almonds, honeys and olive oil.
